So its Monday….
The first free day I have had since Wednesday last week because of my job training with the girl scouts. I thought I had a work meeting today as well but no I have two super epic meetings tomorrow.
So I now work with the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona as a Girl Experience Associate. In my case its more an Experience Associate since I do not really work with little girls. I work at Casa de los Ninos today with their foster children which are certainly not all girls but still very excited. I have to go get a Girl Scout shirt today so I can wear it to work and not look all outta place and what nots.
Probs be posting the ridiculousness of the shirt in a few but I cant explain how excited I am to be working in the social justice realm. You know when you figure out what you want to do as an adult…its kind of an awesome feeling.
On top of the Girl Scouts, I have a paid internship with Democratic Women in Action and their Vision 20/20 project. Here’s to 2012 being super professionally beneficial to my future as well as notable personal growth. Should be fun. Oh on top of that I’ve stuck to my circuit training business pretty well. Should be easier once I have a constant schedule. Either way 2012…gonna be awesome, which is why I love this Monday.
